#18 - Calling To Sign People Up

Our brains are almost trained to procrastinate. Even if we love something!

This is an incredible service to help people through the slightly complicated process of ordering!

I changed my wording over the years to: "Awesome! So glad you liked the webinar! When is a good time I could call and help you get started?"

This is adding a service! I can let them know over the phone I will sign them up as a club member because they can get an extra 15% discount. The only difference between retail and "club member" is that they get a personalized website they can reorder from or share if they ever wanted. But it's completely optional!

I also encourage them to put their order on autoship even for one month, so they get the 10% autoship discount. I offered the service of putting their autoship date in my calendar, so I can cancel their order for them if they didn't want to continue!

(People feel so at ease when you assume responsibility for this, and it's a great opportunity to call and follow back up and see how they are feeling!)

If people have questions or concerns, they'll let you know. But this is by far the most productive and helpful way I've found to continue the conversation after they have been educated about Neolife!

As always, let me know if you have any questions!

    #17 - Money Making Activities

    Seeding.

    Planting.

    Harvesting.

These are things that are necessary to get food on the table to feed your family, and they are also necessary in a Neolife business!

For example, SEEDING is inviting. Inviting people to learn about Neolife life via a zoom webinar, health talk, one-on-one, or shareneolife.com. Inviting people to learn about Neolife is a Necessary activity for building Neolife and therefore a money making activity.

    Other money-making activities:

    - A Hard Ask.

    - Calling People to Sign them up.

    - Doing a collaboration where you are making contact with someone else's audience.

    - Creating a valuable piece of content.

    - Following up. (One of the most profound and easily overlooked opportunities.)

Things that are not money-making activities.

    -Learning about the products

    - Watching videos

    - Educating yourself on business etc.

Elisha and I built our Neolife business with ZERO following and ALL of our *interested* friends and family already taking Neolife supplements, by doing ONE hour of money-making activity a day.

Reach out any time you have questions! We are here to support YOU!

    #10 - Following Up

Elisha and I both like to be liked…probably more than we should.

That said, we didn’t want to be pushy or annoying, and we were hyper-aware of how we came across.

That said, we soon realized following up in a healthy was was a great help! We never know when someone is just too busy in the moment and forgets!

This applies to reaching out in person too! (In fact, there’s a gal right now I can’t find in my DM’s that I WISH would follow up because I want to try the workout program she’s selling but I lost her original message!)

This video lays out when to follow up, how to follow up, and when to stop following up.

Make sure you keep organized because it can get confusing! I would keep a list of people I reached out to each day and a list of people I followed up with (and whether their response was yes/no/no response).

Bonus tip: if you’re nervous, don’t reach out to close friends/family first. It’s hard, because we care about the most and want to see them heathy! But they will also be the biggest hit to our confidence if they say “no.” If Lucy-Jane we didn’t really know in high school says “no,” it’s easier to count it as a win! Yes AND No are both great answers in this game of sales! The only answer we don’t want is no response.Elisha and I both like to be liked…probably more than we should.

    #16 - Stories Sell

Actually, my hair was still falling out.

But I got my three for free the same week I started purchasing my supplements! (Hello broke college girl!)

The key was leveraging other people’s stories. My mom with 11 kids. My cousin Nicole’s with fibromyalgia and exaggerated PMS, my cousin’s with seizures, my uncle’s boils, my friend of a friends alopecia…

    And you can too.

Neolife is incredible nutrition, and you don’t have to have a near death experience or even be the picture of health to invite people on the journey with you, and share the power of giving our bodies what they need to heal themselves.

    Best places for testimonies:

    Wisdombuilders.com

    Neolife healthy living FB page

    @nowthatimamother.health highlights

(I encourage you to share at least one a week on social media. They WILL start conversations for you. Just screenshot and share your own take on why they get you excited!)

Have you posted a testimony of someone else before?

    #14 - Shareneolife.com

Shareneolife.com is one of my favorite tools to share Neolife because it is so simple!

I like to use the “if I, will you” model.

Example in a conversation: “Hey! If I sent you a webinar explaining a bit more about this beyond Organic 60-year old Christian company, would you want to check it out?”

When someone says “yes,” it’s always important to let them know you’ll reach back out so it’s not annoying when you follow up…it’s helpful and expected!

(Forget this part and you’ll be like little Katie—following up every 5 days for the next 2 years. )

“Awesome! The first 15-20 minutes is the part I think you’ll find super interesting! I can’t wait to hear what you like best about it! Does this weekend work for me to check back in with you?”

Boom. Your next goal is to get a “yes” or “no” from whoever watched the video!

Bonus: when you reach back out and they say they watched it jump STRAIGHT to: “I’m so glad! Is there a good time for me to call and get you started?”

They’ll say “yes” or “no” from there, but this jumps straight to the point and doesn’t waste any time! They just heard some life changing information and it’s a great time to help them take action on it!

Have you used shareneolife.com before to call and get people started?

    #12 - Sowing Seeds

If we want to actually know how many seeds we are sowing we have to track them!

If you are consistently sowing seeds every week (aka having conversations) your business WILL grow. You’ll get better at learning how to communicate, how to deal with objections, and how to truly help a customer!

But if the seeds aren’t being sown…business will die.

Really, this is the case in any business. So even if you aren’t seeing the fruit today, know that it is on the way, as long as you are faithful to sow those seed conversations, water them following up, and letting the sun of information shine down.

    #9 - Scripts

Whatever sounds like you! There’s no formula to the words but after sending over ONE THOUSAND FB messages, we found THERE was a formula to the layout of a message.

We built our business online reaching out directly to at least 45 people a week inviting them to check out Neolife, and we found this made potential customers feel comfortable and happy to respond!

Now, 100% of our customers reach out to us and ASK to buy!

We’re going to teach you how to have that happen (because customers signing themselves up is obviously ideal) but it takes time to establish yourself as a resource. If you want to build a business or get your three for free you have to reach out directly while building that long-term funnel.

And it can be fun! ☺️❤️

P.S. online sales worked best for us, because I didn’t love talking to people about it in person, but that’s going to be up to you and your style!

    #8 - Great Question

Neolife has a LOT of supplements and a LOT of science behind it.

When I first started I thought I had to know all about it before I could share with people, but that’s just not true! In fact, it can be EVEN better if we don’t know all the answers.

“Great question, let me get back to you.” Is one of my favorite things to say when sharing Neolife!

And it lets you start sharing right away!

#7 - Jab, Jab, Jab, Hook

You show you are a real person with lots of different interests! You goal is to present people with a life-changing opportunity…then go back to all the other things you love!

This adds value. Builds trust. And just makes us all around good humans.

P.S. I wouldn’t recommend listening to Gary V. Elisha did so we all don’t have to.

    #6 - Hard Sells

But now I LOVE a good hard sell and I do them weekly!

Hard sells are a muscle you have to flex. But once you’ve done it right a couple times, you’ll realize they are actually a lot of fun! People LIKE be sold to when it’s direct and upfront, and you will love it because it means action happened in your business!

When you get good at them, a hard sell will guarantee conversations start, sales are made and money flies into your bank account.

Two tips to do it right.

    1. When you hard sell, ONLY sell. Don’t slide it in there. Be clear that you are presenting a specific offer. (A webinar, zoom event, in-person meeting, invite to an IG page, one-one-conversation, or purchase page).

    2. Make a clear call to action.

A hard sell is a withdrawal to your audience or friend’s emotional bank account, so you want to make it count! Make sure you always end with a very specific action you want someone to take, (message, follow, purchase, poll etc)

    3. Make sure there is plenty in the bank account by adding VALUE

#5 - How To Reach Out

    1. Be direct

People can appreciate a good upfront sale! Ultimately, when we are clear about our intentions, whoever we’re reaching out to can respect that!

Before I learned to qualify leads, I reached out to people that were my dad’s friends on FB! Awkward!

Haha, except it wasn’t! I said, “Hey! This is Katie, Chad Johnson’s daughter! I know we haven’t talked in years, but I recently started a business selling whole food supplements with a 60 year old beyond organic company. I’d I shot you a 20 minute video explaining why I love them, would you be interested in watching it?

And I NEVER received a negative response! People either said, “sure, send it over!” Or “no thanks, but that was thoughtful of you to reach out! I hope you do well!”

We all appreciate an honest offer…not a slippery confusing message where they aren’t sure if you want to be their best friend or take their money while they aren’t looking.

    2. ALWAYS end with a question. In person or online.

If you don’t, you lost control of the conversation, and now it’s annoying when you follow up. If you finished with a question and they got busy and didn’t reply however, (which, let’s be honest, is most of us) it’s perfectly natural, and helpful when you check back in!

  • #4 - Qualifying Your List
    • 3/31/23

    #4 - Qualifying Your List

Having conversations about Neolife with people who WANT to hear about it!

If you want to get your three for free, you’re going to have to have around 10-25 conversations about Neolife.

And If you want to build a business, your success is going to depend on how many conversations you have about the supplements. (And how good you get at having them .)

But no one wants to be seen as annoying, right?

So this is one tried and true way to make sure you aren’t annoying—you’re helpful! You are following up on a previously started conversation. ☺️

  • #2 - Being A Value Creator

    #2 - Being A Value Creator

What are three things that can add value to those you know and love—in person OR online!

This is just a good thing to do in general, but ESPECIALLY if you’re building a business!

Network marketing is fun, and exciting, but people have to know us as people…not billboards.

Once you think of your top 3 value adds, we’ll talk about how to use them.
